Hunt & Hunt’s east PEMB on Almeda, then the U-flow inside it. Plant is the measurable hall; Product is the measurable actuator.
East hall · U-flow
Six-metre AGV spine, four lines south, grind and CMM north, miniload east, docks west. The envelope you occupy — not a new building.
AXON 7 family
H90 H70 H50 · P110 P80 · R32 · F16. One stator family, one 48 V bus, one fixture set.
West gable
The east hall’s 37 m courtyard wall. White PEMB, grade-level roll-ups — not a new dock-high box. Hunt’s west shop sits across the yard.
Envelope
Hunt & Hunt Ltd, 14441 Almeda Rd. East hall on the right is the 100 × 37 m plant. West shop on the left keeps mill/turn. Courtyard is the truck court.
Four lines
Same U-flow as the east hall. Line H, P, L, F south of the 6 m AGV spine. Grind and CMM north. AMRs, not conveyors.
CNC hall
North bays of the east hall: grind, CMM climate box, kitting. Housings and shafts stay on Hunt mill/turn next door.
Final cells
South of the aisle, same hall. Fenced 6-axis cells, AMR kit feed, mix-model fixtures. H90 in the morning, cobot H70 in the afternoon — firmware is the changeover.
Lights-out
The same east hall on third shift. Two remote engineers. Four lines, seven SKUs, no crew on the floor.
AXON 7 family
Seven SKUs on one inspection table. Harmonic cans, planetary QDD, inverted roller-screw, tendon cassette. Same 48 V bus, same drive PCB, same connector.
AX-H 90
Strain-wave rotary. Hollow bore, dual encoder, aluminium TENV. Shoulder J1/J2 and hip yaw. 80:1, 120 N·m peak, 1.35 kg.
H90 exploded
Stator, rotor, elliptical wave generator, flexspline cup, circular spline, cross-roller, hollow output flange. The live CAD on Product is the measurable stack.
AX-P 110
Single-stage planetary QDD, 9:1, three planets. Hip pitch and knee. Backdrivable enough for contact, stiff enough to squat. 220 N·m peak.
AX-R 32
Inverted planetary roller screw in a 32 mm class tube. Elbow and spine. Not a ball screw — walking and lifting brinell balls.
PRS cutaway
Static screw, rotating nut, six orbiting rollers, line contact. The 70 mm frameless is shared with H70. Most expensive mechanical in the kit until volume.
Section
Product CAD, section mode. Clip plane through the stack so the wave generator and cup are visible without pulling the housing off.
Fit
29 body + 20 tendon. Harmonic upper, planetary lower, roller-screw elbow/spine, tendon hands in the forearm. Click a joint in Fit mode to load that SKU.
